Welcome to Blinze Browser ("Blinze," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Blinze web browser software and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using Blinze, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

i. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Blinze, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

ii. Description of Service

Blinze is a web browser designed for developers. The Service currently includes:

  • Core web browsing functionality
  • Developer-focused tools and features
  • Optional anonymous usage analytics (daily ping) to estimate active users

iii. User Accounts and Data

Blinze does not currently offer cloud-based synchronization, autofill, or password management features. All user data, including browsing history, bookmarks, settings, and other browser data, is stored locally on your device.

You are responsible for backing up and securing any data stored locally by Blinze. We are not responsible for any loss of data stored on your device.

iv. Privacy and Analytics

Blinze collects minimal data. During onboarding, you may opt in to help us estimate our active user count through a daily anonymous ping. This is the only telemetry or analytics we currently collect.

We do not collect, store, or transmit personal information, browsing history, passwords, or other sensitive user data through our Service.

v. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Blinze only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
  • Except to the extent permitted by applicable law (including for interoperability), attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service

vi. Intellectual Property

Blinze and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Blinze and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

Blinze does not claim ownership over the third party websites or content accessed via the browser.

vii. Open Source Components

Blinze may incorporate open source software components. Such components are governed by their respective open source licenses, which are available in the browser's documentation.

viii. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

ix. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Any defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free from viruses or other harmful components
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable

x. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLINZE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your use of any content made available via the Service

xi. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blinze and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

xii. Beta Software

Blinze may be considered beta or pre-release software. As such, it may contain bugs, errors, or other issues. You acknowledge and accept these risks when using the Service.

xiii. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

xiv. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service shall be governed by and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Switzerland. Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude any rights or remedies available to consumers under mandatory provisions of the laws of their country of residence.

xv. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

xvi. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Blinze regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements between you and Blinze relating to the Service.

xvii. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
